Ok thanks. Guess I'll grab a pair of PVC elbows and make it work. Now the joy of measuring the length of the center of the elbow.
Don't forget to take into account the amount of overlap in the joint. Won't be much, but every little bit helps.
Based on a semi crude measure it looks as though the middle of the 1" elbow I just picked up is 3.125" long so might work out. Just have to bring it flush with the front baffle.
This might not make much of a difference now that you've bought an elbow, but two things to keep in mind when using PVC. First, PVC is nominal rating, meaning a 2" PVC pipe runny really be 2" internal diameter. You can measure with calipers it just look up the ID of X PVC pipe size.
Second, if you use an elbow, it's great to use a slow bend elbow. This will help with the flow.
Thanks for the info. Yea, 1" PVC should measure by the internal diameter right? So the 1" 90° should be 1" throughout.
I picked up some elbows but those can be exchanged pretty easily as a big box store is around the block from home
Schedule 40 PVC on average is a little bigger than it's nominal rating. Here's a good article that shows the average. That way you can input this data in winISD to get the correct measurement.

Been trying to figure out the correct port length based on the fact that the inside diameter of the elbow is closer is 1 5/16"and then I realized that after modifying the box it's actually right at . 11 so think I'll give it a go sealed. Just have to order the parts for a BSC now.
