@123toid

Have tried to upload some pictures recently but it appears the new Max file size for uploads is 2KB.  Surely this is a mistake or at least I'm hoping it is? If not, can anyone tell me how to reduce the file size of an image enough to meet this criteria.  So far, I've tried an image resizer for Windows but am still a long ways off from 2KB, smallest I've been able to achieve so far is 100KB.  Nick??

It's also killing my ability to upload DIY schematics...

@douglas-blake

There shouldn't be a max file size at all.  Let me check on it this evening.

try it now.  I reset it to 2gb.  It looks like an update occurred and reset it.

2gb might be a bit excessive ... Most picture files can be reduced to 2mb quite easily.

I'll clean up the test posts I did for this... Thanks.

LOL ... if you can see the picture....

LO, perfect.  I know it is 🤪 but the there is no max server size, so this will help keep people from having to worry about resizing.  It can be a pain.

Gee, I missed the fun. 😊

Yeah, file size for images can be kept WAY low. I routinely resize photos for work down to 300K or less for PDFs by using IrfanView, a free Graphic Viewer / manipulator. Now, I can see media files needing way more space, but then again, there are other hosts for them and links work too.

+1 for Irfan View ... my go to tool for minor photo rework.

Also check out NeoPaint which mysteriously became Pixel Neo about a year ago.
