Has anyone converted the cut list to use 3/4 inch stock??  That’s currently all I have available. Just wanna make sure I still have the same volume inside if I use a different thickness. This is for the dinas boombox

Not sure which design you're inquiring about, but here's a thread that will help.

@tstanfill Its all good. I'll let those who have built them or modded them help out more directly.

Only thing I can add is that the interior dimensions would stay the same, just the outer dimensions would grow to match the 3/4" stock. Maybe you can get one of those programs in the thread I linked and give it a try.

You can use 3/4" thickness.  It'll just be heavier.  If you go 3/4" thickness I would recommend using something like Birch ply which will weigh a lot less than say MDF.  Of course, if you aren't making it portable, it doesn't really matter.

As far as how you would go about doing it, just make sure the main cavity's internal dimensions are the same.  Keep in mind that if you use 3/4" material for the port, that will further affect the height of the boom box as well.
