Wierd way hooking plateamp up?
Can anybody tell me why you will hook the Lepai210 up like this?
That looks to be @thefordmccord build. He used a coaxial speaker and appears to have bi-amped it. In other words he's using one channel (left or right) to power the tweeter and the other to power the mid. Then hooking the sub as normal.
Okay so when he bi-amp he got 30 more watts from the other line out?
And the bridge why is that.
And bye the way, thanks for respond also. It helps me build my DINAS,
I'm not quite sure I understand the question. But he is powering the tweeter separately from the mid. This can give you more total power, if needed/wanted.
Ohh yes that is what i mean 😀 when powering separately from the mid you got more power.
But what about Stereo then?
I mean why make a bridge here
That jumps the input signal, so the left and right play the same sound. Basically he's taking the stereo amp and making it a mono amp.
It helps alot. So because he jump the input and output signal to make it mono, he will then could hook both up in stereo after.
Well i need to practice this.
