      Hi,

Does anyone has experience with this board?

      LINK

      It has impressive specs.

I am planning to build a 2.1 system. A tower shaped transmissionline as subwoofer that also acts as terminal and 2 satellite speakers. The transmissionline will have a 5,25 inch Chinese subwoofer and each of the two satellites will have 4 fullrange mini speakers 360 degrees mounted in a ball that hangs on the ceiling.  The satellite speakers are these:

THe links are automatically removed until you have been a few more posts under your belt. That prevents spamming 😀 I did lower the number and update your links for you  If you post a link again, you should be fine 🙂

Seems like a cool idea.  I have no real experience with either, but I kind of like the amplifier board.  It sounds like a cool project.  It’ll be interesting to see if the 4 speakers on either side will cause cancellation.  Typically, when someone wants to enhance the soundstage, they will only put them on the back of the speaker.  This then reflects the sound off the rear wall, filling the room with more sound (and in turn giving the impression of a bigger soundstage).  The Boenike W5 does this as well as almost all Definitive Technology towers.  It might be worth trying it with just a speaker in the front and rear to see if you get your desired results.  Another way to get omnidirectional sound is to do what the Amazon Alexa units and some hifi manufacturers do. Which is diffuse the sound with a point or a sphere.

HAving said that, I am all about experimentation.  So I am excited to see this build!

Let me tell a bit more about this experiment.

I am very curious about the 2.1 amplifier. I ordered it at Aliexpress for just $ 35,-

It combines a 100W + 2 x 50W amp with a bluetooth receiver and a 4.3″color LCD display. It has microSD slots, video input, etc. You can play MP3, MP4, MP5.
No idea how it does the crossover . . .
Then i have 2 iron spheres. Actually these are lanterns. In each of them i will mount 4 small full range speakers of each 5 watts, which i will connect 2 in series, 2 parallel, giving me 20W and 8 ohm. The speakers will radiate in 4 directions.
      Keep you posted.

Here is a small update. I ordered all the parts at Aliexpress. Unfortunately the power supply did not work . . . i opened a dispute and finally i was credited and i ordered another one. Here are some pictures of the progress. 487-VID20190803124139.mp4
I still am not able to test the system. You can imagine i am very curious how it will sound.

      Keep you posted.

Man that remote is loud!  Honestly though, that is a really sweet amplifier.  I am thinking of picking one up.  Does it play video on it?

Yes, it playes MP4 and MP5. See video above.
I am still not able to test the system. Still waiting for a part!
The amplifier is cool! The only disadvantage seems that you can not adjust the output level of each amplifier. So probably i’ll have to do some balancing with passive filters.
The subwoofer amp (100 watt) is low pass. Crossover frequency unknown.
