Well I finished one of the 3D printed speakers. This is a nautilus style that will take a full range driver. Right now I’m going to probably use the Dayton audio ps-95 – 8. It fits and it’s the only one I have on hand that does fit. So we’ll go ahead and start some testing there. I also have the Dayton audio DSP board, that I might mess around with this with. If you are interested in the download, I got it at thingiverse. and I am using my new Creality Ender 5, which printed this as one shell. Yay! No Gluing!
It’s pretty hard to actually measure, lol. It is around 10.5″ talll, but 8.5″ deep and 4″ wide The printer is capable of 200mm by 200mm by 400mm. Which is approximately 8.65″ wide and 15.75″ tall. Here is an idea of how it looks like to the slicing software on my machine bed.
I plan ontesting one of them tonight. I hadn’t got the chance yet. I haven;t printed the second one yet. I need to get some more filament. Hopefully, it will turn outwell enoughm I want to print the other one. I plan to use the Dayton DSP board to fine tune them.
