ParticipantHello All,
I got wind of Toid’s DIY as I was looking to upgrade my LCR in my little home made theater. I had recently built a DIYSG Kuda 18 subwoofer and was looking into the HT-10’s to replace my front three to keep up. Unfortunately, I got frustrated with stalking the site waiting for things to come into stock and I found this 650 “Klones” and it seemed like an excellent fit for my goals.
My room is ~13’x17′ and I’m running a JVC RS1000 (NX5) throwing ~16′ onto a 125″ 2.35:1 DIY Carl’s Flexiwhite screen with a 11′ viewing distance. My current audio setup is 7.1.4 running an Onkyo RZ730 for the base layer with the ATMOS pre-outs to an Onkyo TX-NR708 for my in ceiling speakers. I’m using BIC Acoustechs all around with the HT-63’s for my side and rear surrounds and an HT-65 center (2×6.5″ woofers) and HT-64 bookshelves for L&R. These things have been awesome for the past 10 years or so, but the “itch” sort of started once the Kuda came in.
I have a fair bit of experience making speakers and subs from kits (I’m on my third pair of C-Notes). I’ve learned a lot from AVSForum over the years as well (joined in 2008). I have a habit of finding old vintage stereos and restoring/recapping them as well with my favorites being the usual suspects of Pioneer, Marantz, Kenwood and Sansui.
I hope to contribute here where I can and pick up more as I go.
Thank you to 123Toid and this community for the opportunity.

Really excited to have you on here. It is crazy that DIYSG has been so out of stock of everything. If you need any help, feel free to let me know.
