Decided to give speaker building a try since I have a lot of tools. I’m attempting to build the cinema 10. I decided to join the panels with mitered edges so I had to change the side dimensions a bit so I wouldn’t alter the volume of the box.

Hopefully I’ll start painting them by Tuesday. I’ll post more pics when I’m done. Hopefully but the end of this week.

Waiting on the other woofer to get here since it’s back ordered. Just one sounds great. I’m sure with the second one it will sound even better.

You killed it! Those look amazing! 🤩 Where do you plan on using them? Absolutely hate that they went on back order. I know a lot of people were wanting to build them and couldn’t because the drivers were out of stock. If you decide you don’t want to wait, you can always pick it up on Amazon. Just a few left on there.

These will be placed in the family room downstairs. I had a soundbar that doesn’t work with this room because its so big (The kitchen is on the opposite side of the tv. One big rectangle.) and we couldn’t understand the voices at times in movies. With just one connected is a big difference. It is loud and the music sounds so clear. I bet both together will be way better.

Thanks for the heads up on Amazon. I just ordered it and it should be here tomorrow.

Now my problem will be figuring out what to put as a center speaker. I cant use the same speaker because it blocks part of the tv on the bottom. I was thinking maybe building the cinema 6 since it is a couple inches shorter, but I kind of want to keep using the same tweeter as the cinema 10. Not sure your opinion on this. But either way thanks for this design.

@Tigre I am currently running these in my living room with Dolby Atmos and no center channel. I am doing, what they call a Phantom center. Basically, the Cinema 10 have such a wide coverage pattern, it made a center unnecessary. Not to mention, the center I had in there was not up to par to keep up with these. If I were you, I would consider trying it without a center and seeing if you need it.

I think I should be fine with a phantom center then. As it is with one speaker I can sit off the left where there is no speaker and still hear things fine.

I guess I’ll save the money and spend it on making a sub. 😎
