I made three pairs of these for friends of mine. I think they turned out great.

They each have a Dayton RS fabric tweeter, a 5.5″ Epique driver and a 7″ Epique passive radiator.

      All in a 0.2^ft enclosure.

Big thanx to Toid for guidance with the crossover and Tom Zarbo for his veneer videos.

Those came out really nice! I really like the thick round over you did.  How thick is that?

Thank you. That is 1″.  I had to make it fairly large so I could bend the veneer. That huge router bit wasnt cheap though.

1″? Wow. Did you have to double up the faceplate so as not to weaken the corners?

No, I just used a 45° miter joint on all sides of all 6 boards. When I put the 1″ roundover on it there was still plenty of meat holding it together and no signifigant gaps. I used 3/4 MDF all the way around.

I spy with my little eye… a foot! Lol

I like 45’s, they give more area for glue adhesion. Plus, in a situation like this, where you are removing joint area, this method keeps the joint areas equal, making it ultimately stronger than a butt joint that’s been “whittled away.” Only problem with them is that if you aren’t super precise, the fit can be off. Looks like you are rather precise.

That foot belongs tou yours truly. The joints came out good. There were actually no glaring mistakes or issues, which is impressive for me.
