Are passive crossovers available for the dinas?

@bfr1957 yes there is a passive crossover version now. You can get the Dinas Passive plans here. The plans include the upgraded box using a passive radiator as well as the passive crossover design. However, if you would rather use the slot port, just message me and I can send you the slot port dimensions. I personally prefer the passive radiator.

The crossover is the secret to the great bass sound these speakers make. There is a diagram on page 10 of the plans.

I already have the dinas built with the sloted cabinet. Can I get the passive crossover details separately?

Yes you can just take out the amplifiers on the rear and place the passive crossover on the inside of the cabinet. Then you’ll want to seal out the hole that the amplifier was in and put in some binding posts.

Or do I have to purchase a second set of Dina’s plans?

It is a completely different build, so the plans are separate. But as I stated you could save yourself a lot of trouble by reusing your current boxes as they will work fine with the passive version. I do recommend having an amplifier with tone control to fine tune them the way you want. Especially with the amount of bass they can produce, a lot of people like to crank up that bass knob.
