    I am wondering if there are any members interested in discussing issues regarding speaker design and construction in a zoom type setting. I imagine many could benefit from sharing their experience with others the old fashion way. ( that is through conversation) I know I spend an enormous amount of time solving riddles that could be resolved quickly and easily though shared experiences with other hobbyists. Any interest??

    @123toid

    My small photo group would hold zoom meetings of about a dozen people at a time. We shared a screen and we where able to have good discussions. I often acted as moderator but often there was no need. Other times I would open mics up for individuals as they raised  their hands to speak. Moderator also kept discussion on track and limited time per photo ( and speaker as some tend to make speeches😊

    I mention this just as an example. My vision is of a small discussion group(s) that can have a back and forth discussion on topics of our choice, spontaneous or planned. People could present their projects for discussion, ask questions they are trying to resolve , or we could invite guests ( we would sometimes have a judge for photos) . I think there are lots of possibilities.

    Obviously some organizational time is needed. I am retired and would be willing to work to get things started if there is interest and support.

    If there is interest, perhaps a call to brainstorm things a bit.

    I have both Zoom and Jitsi Meet available to me. Not sure if I’d be able to attend many, but I’d try. I enjoy learning as well as sharing knowledge.

    @rskmd @SteveM @tvor-ceasar Sorry I haven’t responded lately.  I am taking the week off to spend with my Family.  I should be back on by Tuesday.  But I do have more family coming in town, so it might be another week.  But I wanted to throw a quick, I haven’t forgot about this.

    To all,

    Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year! We may be a bit scarce over the next week, but guaranteed we’ll be here checking in.

    Now go and enjoy your families and friends. Most of all, spread the love and joy to everyone you meet.

    @123toid I can’t tell if this was a blast response of specific to this short discussion. In any event, I think the topic is worth further discussion.
    ( sorry , I was absent due to a recent illness. All better now)

    This sounds amazing! Depending on the time and date, I’d love to join you all, a relatively late reply compared to when this was posted, but it seems it still hasn’t happened yet, so I thought I’d mention I’m up for it! 😁

    @rskmd No worries, I am glad you are feeling well.  Why don’t you all throw some dates and times out and we can see what we can set up.

    @123toid My time zone is UTC(0) also known as GMT, I have exams and exam prep until Monday the 17th, but any date after that until February I’ll be completely totally free. I’ll always be free Friday nights and super early Saturday morning all the way through to about 4pm my time as well as all throughout Sunday except night (during the exam times I mentioned and when I’m back to study in February, meaning these are my available times when I’m most limited). I’ll also be available during daytime hours except my exam dates, but I didn’t go into detail with those since I’m pretty sure that totally clashes with your times zones. Hope this makes sense.
