Hello All,
I’m not a great wood worker and in fact just got a table saw this week. So, searched for a MDF flatpack that could be purchased and cut down to the same internal volume as the EPIC’s 0.77 ft3. Ended up buying the Parts Express 1.16 ft3 tower cabinet and cutting off the bottom chamber to get 0.77 ft3. The P-E cabinet is not as deep, so has to be taller to volume match the EPIC plans. Cabinets are glued up, painted with Duratex and some No Rez installed. Crossovers are built. Have also done the driver hole layout on the MDF baffles while waiting on the arrival of some 8/4 walnut baffle boards. All drivers will be recessed to be flush mounted. Will use some Electra Cable tube connectors for binding posts.
