First Giveaway – Coming Soon

I thought I would give you a heads up.  In the next coming weeks I plan to start the first giveaway.  So make sure you are active on here.  I’ll post a video on it as well as post the rules and terms here.  The prize?  A pair of 5 1/2″ Dayton Esoteric Drivers.   

Typical cost is around $110-120 each.  These are fantastic drivers with very low distortion.  In fact, I did an overview of the drivers (no tests) here, if you want to see them:

 

The goal is to do giveaways throughout the year on some overstock stuff I have, that you may enjoy.  Just a thank you for making a great community.

I thought it would be a nice first giveaway.  They really should be drivers that anyone should be happy with.  😀  And since this is a DIY forum, hopefully someone will put them to good use.

If the T / S parameters are correct, small box and a 1-1/2″ port and these puppies will dig down into the mid 30’s. (I do my own calcs rather than look at the suggestions)

They arer eally nice and can dig deep.  I personally like the 5 1/2″ better in a small sealed cabinet for something like rear surrounds or a small bookshelf with a subwoofer.  I recently designed a pair of speakers for Doublsmm with these drivers and thought, some one else might want a go with them.
