Has anyone tried these coaxial speakers?

Hmm can’t seem to paste a link in here.

See attached photo of AliExpress page. or search for coaxial speaker. There are meant for cars but could be a space efficient option for desktop or small room if the sound quality was there. Matched with a sub they could be good.

I haven’t used those or seen them before.  They are definitely cheap enough to pick up and try.  However, there are a few concerns, but I’ll start out with the most obvious.  When you blow up the picture, it looks like it uses old foam surround.  These typically don’t have a very long lifespan and are mostly associated products. In all honesty, going from the magnet to the foam and even the tweeter “protection,” appear to all be low quality and not well thought out.  It might be worth trying for that price, but I don’t think I would expect much out of them.

I haven’t tried those, but I have used the Dayton 5″ coaxial. One lesson I learned is coaxial drivers have some significant diffraction issues due to the tweeter placement in the middle of the woofer. Off-axis the diffraction cleans up fairly well.

Those look really great.  I’m impressed with the box/placement.  What do you think of them?
