Hello All!
Hello guys and girls!
My inner audiophile has awaken up after 20 years, now when there is no need to worry about changing diapers and playing with legos.
So i decided to build a home theater system because buying it would be too easy and i want to build something of my own. At the same time, you can save money or get a better system with the same money you would spend on just buying it
I am a production engineer from Finland and i can use design software to design enclosures. I also can use cnc machines to make those enclosures if i want to.
I want to start from something easier than floor standing speakers, because i need to learn how to use Xsim and other planning programs before it. Good thing is that i know how resistors, capacitors and inductors work, getting around those programs need some time and practice.
Now i have 2 Tang Band w6-1139sg and 1 Peerless sls 8″ 830667 and was thinking to make subwoofer for starters. Now its been along time sense i build anything and was thinking to throw those Tang Bands in one box and add one passive radiator with them or should i save those Tang Bands for floor standing speakers and do that subwoofer from that peerless SLS8?
Any ideas or thoughts?
-Tomppa
