Does anyone know what the F3 (I think) of the Presence 10? I am looking at these for ATMOS. But, I don’t want to cross over any higher than 80. I keep my towers at 60. Are these a good fit to crossover at 80 on the original design? Thanks.

June 29, 2025 at 1:04 pm #58669I can’t say for sure, but guesstimating the box volume from the overall dimensions, wall thickness, and a bit of Pythagorean Theorem, it’s around 0.39 CuFt. With the given T/S parameters, a sealed box would tune to about 126.8 Hz and the f3 would be around 95 Hz. I’d confirm with Nick.

Thank you so much!!!
Would you have an educated guess on what box volume it would take to get it to lets say 70-75? I can probably find an online calculator to do the box volume math. Although, I am not sure how much volume the driver takes.
For simplicity, lets say I extended the rectangle end to add volume.
I guess my goal is making the box bigger to Xover at 80 and not change the Xover design. Is that is doable? Or, would the Xover need changed also? Changing the Xover is way out of my league (but you probably already realized that with my question. HA.)
Thanks again. I really appreciate you help.

July 2, 2025 at 1:42 am #58725Probably about 0.9 or ~1 CuFt. That’ll drop your box tune down into the high 90’s (under 100), which should put your F3 just below 75 Hz.
