Well it looks like I will be saying goodbye to Pa soon and hello to TN. At the end of this month, wewill be moving to West TN, near Memphis. Not sure exactly where yet, but we are excited. I am hoping this move will give me a bigger shop and more land. I have even been considering an outdoor theater. Because…well that would be sweet! If any of you live near there let me know. We will get together and build something.

Yeah. And hopefully I can put the finishing touches on it soon. 😆 Touching up some drywall today. I hope to be ready to list the house in 1.5 weeks.

Thank you. I need it. The realtor is coming tomorrow to list the house. Hopefulyy it’ll seel quickly. It’s one of the reasons I haven’t been on as much. I have been working hard to get this house ready for the market.

Welcome to the middle of the country. I live in Fort Wayne, IN, about 9 hours away. Once you get settled in and shop set up, let us know. I would be up for a road trip to Memphis. I’ve been through there, but never spent time there. I am cleaning/rearranging things in my house so I can finally get an electronics workshop set up, too. Looking forward to seeing what you post once you get unpacked and back to normal. We will be here, as will the forum. Take care of family, you, and life first!

Well I have been down in TN for a little while now. I am temporarily setting up my CNC and a few other pieces of equipment, but my wife and I just had an offer on a house accepted. We don’t have a closing date yet, but hopefully I’ll be in a house sometime next month. Then can have everything setup more permanently. That will feel great. The last few months have been crazy. It’ll be nice to get back to normalcy.

If you ever want to get together, let me know. We could even collaborate on a build. I used to live in Antioch…many years ago. And we just had our offer accepted on a house. Probably about 2.5 – 3 hours to the heart of Nashville.

Thanks Guys! We closed on Monday and have been slowly moving our stuff out of storage and setting it up. In fact, my wife wants to start a second channel “fixing up” the house. Who knows? That may happen. But we ended up buying a house that was for sale by some friends of my family. They never advertised it, so it sat for a while. There’s 7.5 acres of land, a fishing pond and a pool (that I am not looking forward to upkeeping/learning about). Luckily 3.5 acres are cleared, should be plenty for some nice free air measurements 😀 We have big plans, including putting an outdoor theater screen up near the pool. Who knows if it’ll happen, but it never hurts to dream 😉 Here are a few pictures. Thanks again guys. It feels good to finally be back in a house.
