So I added a pair of Voxel Subs to my Mini Dina build for a desktop speaker set up. I’m pushing them with one of two different amps, the first being a Up2Stream Amp 2.1 (50W x2 output with a 100W sub output) and the second a Lepy LP-168S (45W x 2 + 68W x 1RMS).
For some reason the sound cuts out if I push the volume up on either amp. It cuts back in when I lower the volume.
Anyone have a guess as to why this might be happening.

It is the sub that is cutting out. I’m using a <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;”>TDA7498E Bluetooth Power Amplifier Board with Subwoofer 2.1 Amp for testing. It’s a cheap little amp but has separate volume and crossover controls. When I push the sub crossover it cuts out. P.S. Yes I did run the caps on the tweeter this time. Thanks for the help!

😁 That’s great to hear that you’re running the caps. As far as the issue goes, you might just be running out of power. What kind of power supply are you running?

It was the power. I’m using a variable voltage power supply and didn’t notice that it was set to 12V and not 24V. Thank you!
