I will be doing calibration when I finally set it up. It’s in the living room in the box ATM. Just had a client give me another job, had my monitor (a 50″ tv) die on me, so now I have to buy a new tv (there goes hundreds). But, as with any tool, calibrating it will always increase performance (even if minuscule; although law of diminishing returns kicks in at some point).
Also, what is your preferred process or products for smoothing?
