@DKL we’re all still learning. And that’s a great thing about this forum. Hopefully we can all learn from each other. Truthfully, we often worry about things that we don’t need to. Unless it’s a subwoofer or a very inefficient speaker, power handling is typically moot. I guess another spot where it might be good to know is with a PA speaker. The point being once they’re in a room, you don’t use as much power as you think you do. I’ve really enjoyed DIY audio guys amp Dynos. He’ll Dino the amp and then he’ll play it on a normal song so you can see how much wattage you’re actually using playing that song. I think it’s quite eye-opening.
