@Toid The NX3000D finally arrived and I have the box built. Now I’m excited (and nervous) for the wiring. I have Speakon cable connectors to make the cable that runs from the amp to the speaker and I have the Speakon speaker mount for the box. But I’m not 100% confident on the wiring.
Can you look at the drawing below and let me know if I have it correct? I was planning to attach the positive wire to the terminals marked 1+ at each end of the cable. Likewise, attach the negative wire to the terminals marked 1- at each end. The 2+ and 2- terminals would be unused.
Then for the speaker, attach the 1+ terminal of the Speakon mount to the + speaker terminal of one coil and attach the 1- terminal to the – speaker terminal of the second coil. Finally, wire the – terminal of the first coil to the + terminal of the second coil. The 2+ and 2- terminals on the speaker mount would be unused. (I hope the picture makes more sense)
