I just received a new pair of power adapters which Part Express recommended trying out and the LP210PA are working perfectly together. I haven’t hear back from their tech department on how the power adapters I had connected could possibly have damaged my sound card but fortunately the computer is covered by Apple Care so it won’t cost anything to have it repaired.
