Different world? Yes. Most of the home stereo (15″) speakers I recall had F3’s in the low 30’s to mid 20’s Hz. So 46 is kind of high compared to them. But that’s different than music creation, where overall timbre is most important. Still, a sub would do wonders, especially outdoors, to fill in the sonic punch of anything lower than, say, 50 Hz. Things like the sudden impact of the Kick, big Pipe Organ, Synths, and other electronica (as you mentioned). (❛̀ ͜ʖ ́❛)
