The Baffle
The baffle is the most involving part of the speaker. To build the baffle to the precise specifications, I drew the Cinema 10 baffle on the MDF board first. I used the measurements laid out in the build plan.
- Took the horn and placed it on the MDF board and traced it using a pencil.
- Drew the circle for the speaker driver.
- Drew the smaller circles for the ports
The trickiest part here was to find the center of the circles for the rounded corners and then draw the circles. These circles would help with the precise cut later using the router.
