I started making seakers (few years ago_ and used a active crossover (xilica). beyma 15lx60v2 + 40cm traxtric horn+beyma cp800 ti. I have rew and mic. I got the sound great for music. Really loved them. The highs were not great but oke (downside of big compression driver). Voices dead center and big big sound.
