I love passive radiators. They really are a great way to get low end extension without having to porry about figuring out a port. However, there seems to be many people who do not quite understand the basics of a passive radiator. For instance, did you know that you should have double the volume displacement in your passive radiator than the speaker you are tuning? Also did you know that adding weight will lower the tuning frequency? Although, you could blindly put a passive radiator in an enclosure, it is very unlikely that you will get optimal results.
