These are for the build plans to build the tower speaker – The Uglies. The Uglies are a Home Theater Speaker designed to give you bass. Each speaker is equipped with two 8″ drivers that are capable of producing massive amount of air. The end result is an even sound that is perfect for supplementing your subwoofers. But don’t worry, these aren’t just about the bass. These also have a very linear tweeter that is capable of playing flat all the way to 20Khz, This ensures you have the highs to go with the lows.
Each speaker consists of these parts:
(1) Peerless DA25TX00-08
(2) W8-2096
A finished speakers size is approximately:
43” Tall
11” Wide
14” Deep
These speakers do feature a port and can be either front or rear ported tuned to approximately 30hz. Each Speaker will cost around $380-400 for the parts.
