Here is a what I’m thinking for our poolhouse speakers, the cathedral ceiling roof rafter cavity (for two speakers ) and the wall cavity (for two speakers)would be the box. Keeping the same volume, length/ height would be approx 48” with a 14 1/2” width depending on depth. Is there a minimum depth so long as the the full range have 1/2” clear ace front to back?
I definitely do not want to screw up the sound but would love it if I could build them as in wall speakers.

Hello. Along the lines of soundstage applications, thoughts as to using them in an open pool house environment—walls on 3 sides and open on one. Considering building 5 as the speakers for a 5.1 like system. Also, can box dimensions be modified to do an in wall. For example, what is the minimum depth of the box? Be glad to pay for some help on this front.
