      No, just used bedec multi surface paint in Matt anthracite.

        The answer is I also had your issue with the cutout. I’m a perfectionist so struggled to accept that I wasn’t going to get a satisfactory finish without a significant amount of time mocking up a template so I flush mounted the horns. I tormented myself with it for a few days and then realised the look great. Used gasket tape under the surround of the horn to seal.<div>

        A few years back I’d of spent any amount of time doing rebates but I’d rather spend time with my little boy and live life.

        We’ll both still enjoy the sound from these.

          Just to flag the cinema 10’s are reassuringly heavy. Ceiling mounting would be challenging. I’d argue that the presence 10 would be much more suited to atmos duties and far better to mount at ceiling height.

            Update!!

            There was a complete break inside the joining earth wire which was completely hidden by the brown insulation. The speakers now working 😀 very happy.

            Looking forward to finishing the first cabinet. Pics and an update to follow. Thank you Nick for responding via email.
